"Creation Stories"Bursting Out
Designing the Creation Story Text Screens
Hands on Media offered me my first job in multimedia.
The principals hired me because of my portfolio, which reflected my interest and work as a letterpress printer and papermaker. The goal was to bring the look and feel of handmade paper and letterpress looking pages to the computer screen.
In the beginning there were to be approximately fourteen written/text stories to accompany the fourteen told stories. The producers liked the screens so much they kept adding more and more stories until we finally stopped at 72.
